![]() ![]() Each set on each axle is not designed to work with the tires on the other axle. The run flats have very stiff sidewalls, the non run flats more flexible sidewalls. As you asked for an opinion, I would not further make the additional mixing of front non-RF’s with rear RF’s. To go to your 20/20 system is a massive change from both OEM and for the changed many made to 20/21’s. To change from 19/20’s to 20/21’s is working for many. Again everything is an integrated, tested package. More testing coupled with more GM fine-tuning refinement (results again sent to Michelin), and then Michelin came out with the final tire for the C8 (a set for the standard car and as we know a very different set for the Z51). Then Michelin came up with a version 2 of that tire. GM gave them feedback as it further refined the car’s suspension. For example when Michelin was developing the run flats for the car, they gave an initial set for GM to test. ![]() It was designed as a cohesive package with every component designed to work with every other one. Not saying that changing any one is inviolate, but to make two major changes is asking a lot for your car. All the safety systems are designed around specific parameters. Your picture shows a Z51 so you have eLSD. You are now considering installing run flats on one end and keeping your non run flats on the other.
